Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. As a child, she was exposed to lots of traditional music as well as traditional Boleros. She also listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is enthusiastic about singing tangos as well as operas. In addition, she is a fan of dramatic performances. The mother of her child taught her to sing, and she began singing under Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. his name was known as a famous Mexican opera tenor. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a young student and professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. After relocating into California in United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private celebrations and in the Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana has also been an ex-member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as an active member of Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to be able to share her enthusiasm for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will inspire younger generations to help keep the traditional music going.
