Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She was on QI, with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, after appearing in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year 2009. In 2012, she was frequently performing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. After she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then began appearing on numerous panel shows, where she's becoming a mainstay. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is an extremely popular contestant on the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her include Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who took his own life when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father. She also published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea was fostered by her older sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and former professional racer. Their family was enthralled by race meetings as well as horses. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young days. She knew, however, that racing wasn't what she wanted to be in a career and she preferred to perform.
